Anyone have any comments on this alternator (apparently used as OEM on later jeeps). I have a 1946 Willy's, which for the most part I want to keep stock, but the original generator has crapped out and there have been a few improvements made in electrical components since then. This looks like a nice "plug and play" upgrade kit.

Next, I prolly want to look into brake upgrades.
Generator/Alternator
We have finally assembled a quality alternator upgrade kit for all Willys 4-134 four cylinder engines. The kit includes every part required for the job and can be installed without any cutting, grinding, special tools, or permanent modifications to the engine and vehicle.
The alternator supplied is a custom built full sized 14 volt Delco-Remy DELCOTRON SI systems intergrated single wire alternator with a built-in regulator and 5/8" wide pulley. this alternator was OEM on later model Jeeps.
The most important compnent of our kit is our heavy duty alternator mounting bracket. It is installed on the existing holes on the front engine mounting plate, using a stock straight generator adjusting bracket, Additionally this system includes an OEM 5/8" wide fan belt as well as all mounting hardware with grade 8 yellow zinc plated bolts, nuts and washers.
