I thought you guys might like to see my beast!

It's getting close to running. She's got an NV4500 that Piers used as a spare in his last truck so it's got all the good parts inside, then I've got a Gear Vendor bolted to the back. Unfortunately I won't be able to squeeze quite as much power out of her as Piers did or I'll ruin another new Gear Vendor! :-laf

That cab looks like a C series cab, on my 69 c-500 it has a section of removeable/interchangeable firewall that can be removed to let the engine intrude into the cab as my c-900 does, however the 6-71 in the 900 dwarfs a 5. 9, I have thought of putting my 5. 9 in my 500 but didn't want to lose anymore space in a already cramped cab w/ the big doghouse, also don't those trucks originally have a saddle type m/m down by the vibration damper? did you just mount it to the framerails like a d-cab, thanks, Steve.
