This would be a fun Cummins swap!

Cummins in '97 Ford 460

I am at sort of a crossroads here. I was considering dropping a 4bt into my 1974. I was also considering converting my 92 to a p-pump. Well doing the math it is going to be cheaper to just buy a 2nd gen motor and save the 92's 6bt for the 1974 r/c.

I would like to keep the 1974 an automatic. Keep the original frame. I am not going to go offroading. Its just going to be a second vehicle and I will probably be towing my 92 behind it a few times a year.

So what do you guys think is the sharp call for the '74 transmission wise? What do think is the easiest way to deal with the installation? What parts do you think I'll need if I bolt in a first gen auto? What motor mounts should I use? I read allot on the conversions here and I am looking for more opinions.
