1981-1993 Bucket Seats

After looking for bucket seats for the crew, I have noticed that between 1981 and 1993 Dodge used two differet styles. The older ones seem to be a lower back, less bolstered seat compared with our 1st gen seats.



My question is, what year did they change the seat style? Was it 1988 or 89? Was it earlier?

I got a seat from an 89 RC that had the latter style stuffing. I have an extra set of buckets if you're interested. (This may not be DTR, but does this go against forum rules?:-laf )

I know the 88 Ramchargers are different ( mine are blue ) than the 92/93 style ( they don't recline for one thing ) because I have a set ( and console ) for the rear of my crew. I was thinking, because of the flat floor in the front of the crews, of using full size Dodge van buckets and risers. Shadrach
