A local guy just picked up a fairly mint 90 W250. He brought it by so we could change fluids, add straight pipe, install Borgeson steering joint, set valves, advance the timing, and turn up the fuel. I had a boost gauge out of my wrecked 93 that we went to install but I couldn't find the 1/8" NPT plug like my 93 had. Where should we get boost from? The truck is a 5 sp but 3 gear is MIA in the getrag. Would it be an easy fix? He was all smiles as the the truck ran smoother and could break the tires loose in 4th and 5th on the gravel road after we were done. The sound of a straight piped first gen is the best sounding exhaust too. I've never owned a non I/C truck so it was a bit of a learning experience. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Boost plug is in same spot, you just have to remove the throttle bracket to access and make a hole for the boost fittings to go through the bracket.

Thanks I'll check it out. I should have noticed it when I had the bracket off, I guess I wasn't looking then.
