Also, the #10 is kind of small for that pump, I ran a #5 for several years (some towing) and it worked fine. You will need to make trans upgrades, it will slip.
3 or 4K's and a #5 or #6 plate would be a nice combo on the 160 pump!
I'll agree here too! It would be hard for me to spend pump shop money on a 160 pump, now if you found a 215 for say $600-900 and it was in good shape sending it too a shop for a turn up would be a good thing.
I have a bud that found a 215 pump someone wasn't using an bought it for $500... ..... yea I know! He then sent it to Industrial for a turn up were they did just that with a #6 plate, 4K's and some pump stand time then had me install it. I was amazed at how hard that pump fueled. Is it brand new, nope but it works good. One the other hand it does need to be re-built at some time as it does have a little bit of slack inside.
To date it has made 611 #2 only with my setup and stock 370's. I do feel that 650 is not out of reach and definitely now with the I. I. EDM's I have.
