Hi all, just a little question. With 4. 10 rear end at 60mph in 5th I'm at 2000 RPM. How about you all?

With 265's and 3. 55's I am at 75 mph at 2100 in 6th with the '01.

Looks about right. I am at 1750 to 1800 with LT-245/75R16 tires, and 3. 45 axles. (I think)

2k is 80 with my 35's and 3. 54 good for cruising,3k is well lets just say a wee bit north of the recomended speed limit

Just wanted to get a feel if my truck is doing what its supposed to. Seems like too many RPM (Fuel) for the speed. Gonna have to improve that high rpm thing.

Doug your truck is geared just like mine. I've gotten a personal best of 21. 8 mpg on 265/75/16 tires and a max speed of 66 mph with an empty truck I don't know why but I just like cruising about 2,200 rpm. I noticed a very small improvement with a timing adjustment.



As far as high rpm, your engine in stock configuration can run its rated speed for DAYS on end. Not that it's easy on the ears, but that's what these dudes are made for.
