NEW DIESEL ENGINE and TRANSMISSION! I am the second owner of this 1996 Dodge Ram 2500, 2WD. I bought this truck in 1999 and only used it for pulling my 26 foot enclosed car trailer. It has a 12 valve remanufactured Cummins Diesel engine that was put in at 98K miles. The transmisson was also replaced with a new HTS transmisson and Suncoast towing converter, along with a double deep trans pan at 98K as well. The injector pump has also been refurbished by Industrial Injection Services, and set-up for towing.
Other engine features are an ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold, 4 inch Bully Dog exhaust, and an AFE air intake.
The truck has many upgrades including Chrysler towing mirrors, ATE cap with headliner, Alcoha aluminum wheels, and 2 bulb Dodge "sport" truck headlights. Autometer gauges are also installed along with an electronic brake control for towing.
The truck is a rust free, SUPER clean vehicle ready to tow or drive.
It has never been hit, or had body damage of any kind, and 2 new Chrysler batteries were installed June of 2012. I don't drive it in the winter, and a California custom fit car cover goes with the truck, as well as the 4 original chrome wheels mounted on tires.
This truck has got to be the cleanest of this body style Dodge around. You will not be disappointed by this truck!
