1996 Ram 3500 SLT RWD, Low Mileage Awesome Truck

'96 Ram is being replaced with Gen 3....I can only have 1 truck, so the 96 has to go.
This is a great truck. CLEAN, with 135,000 miles. No dents or dings. Automatic transmission with a fresh band adjustment and fluid change at 133,000. Shifts great, no flare. Has fiberglass body kit, no broken pieces, truck has been stored out of the sun. At 133,000 miles I changed the oil and filter (mobile 1, 5w-40, fleet guard strata pore) new Cummins thermostat and coolant, valves adjusted (Rocky Mountain Cummins), differential fluid changed (Mobile 75-140 synthetic), 3.73 limited slip, wheels aligned and balanced, greased front ( tight, no wander, Front Bilstein shocks, rear brakes adjusted, Original radio replaced with Pioneer am/fa/cd/Blutooth streaming, has Infinity speakers, power windows, door locks, power driver seat (no tears on upholstery) cruise control, has dash mat Ultimate (dash has crack over glove box, covered by dash mat), 2 new Diehard batteries, has Gooseneck setup in Line-X bed (removable ball).
I have purchased a Lance truck camper on a 2007 5.9 six speed, bought them as a unit, I just retired and we're going traveling as soon as I sell my 1996.
I'll take $10,000 for this awesome truck. Pics to follow as soon as the sun comes.....

Very nice truck, but your price is too high. NADA says that an Excellent condition truck like your is worth $5,668. You realize it's almost 20 years old.

I guess Grizzly is right, I don't know much about values...so i'll reduce the price to $10,000. I did look at the NADA values. Grizzly is right, if I were to take my truck to a dealer and trade it in, they would want to give me $ 5668 as a trade in. $10,000 is a fair price for what I am selling, you cannot find one like this for 10K.

I had one like it. It was a 1995 3500 Cummins, dually, Laramie, 5 speed. I ordered it with just about every option I could get, except auto. I sold it in mint condition in Oct 04 when I ordered my present 05. I sold it for $15,500. It had almost 100K on the clock, new tires, a shop manual and a full tank of diesel. A man from Colorado bought it to haul alfalfa with a goose neck trailer and was more then happy to pay my price.

The 2nd gen trucks are selling for a lot more than "dealer trade" price. I just sold my 2001 with 100k on the odometer for $15k last week. I listed it at 9:45 pm on a week day (on Craigslist), and at 9:55 I had 6 phone calls, 4 offers and one guy said he'd show up the next morning sight unseen to buy it. He did show up like he said, and he paid full price for it. Obviously as a reseller he saw that he could get even more $$ out of it. Granted mine was a bit newer (with the newer interior), a 4x4, and had the coveted manual transmission (5-speed), but with that being said I believe your price is fair. May have to drop it a couple grand if you want to move it, but if it's clean there are guys out there that want nice clean 12v trucks.
