1996 steering stabilizer

i had an alignment done about a year ago and they said the tie rods were bad and they could use a different year which is better and stronger. finally got to drive the truck and noticed it wanders. looked underneath and see the stabilizer had been removed. what should I do to replace it or do I need to drive an hour back and hope the guy still works there

Did they replace it with the T-type steering setup? I think it was a 99-01 "heavy duty" steering option so you'd need a stabilizer for that setup. I don't think a stabilizer is going to fix your wandering problem though, might as well save your dough. Try adding more caster, it works wonders and it's free.
