I was happy with how this turned out. It took 3 months for Car Toys to get the dash kit. Now we have an old truck with updated touch screen, Apple car play, and back up camera. The unit is a Kenwood. The only manufacture that had a thin enough touch screen to fit flush. I did not do the install. I had them stay out of the A pillar with all the gauge wiring. They installed hands free microphone in upper right corner of speedo dash. Normally, they install these above the rearview mirror through the A pillar. This truck is loud. I did not think the microphone would work. But test call while driving, person on other end said my voice sounded clear. They must have some fantastic noise cancelation technology. They said it has only been 3 years since aftermarket has offered flat dash install kits for older models. I am not a smoker and did not need the ashtray or cig lighter. Looks almost factory. Does anyone need an ashtray?
I have also been busying with other upgrades that had their own challenges, such as LED headlamps and tail, and a tonneau cover that was difficult to install due to old bent bed rails.
