1999 Ford with 1993 12 valve

Exh manifold for Ferd swap

I have a 2nd generation 2002 cummins. I am planing on putting it in a 1997 chevy 4 WD 1 ton ,it has a 6. 5 diesel w/a 5 speed nv4500 standard . has any one got info on the change out . I do have avilabliaty to the doner truck,it is a auto trans 4wd. this eng runs a VP44 fuel system on it. do I need all the computers to run every thing or can I run a option on this. I did put a 1995 cummins in a 1984 one ton chevy 2 WD. I run this on silonoids to run the fuel silonoid and a exteror regulator for the alt system. not to hard. just a lot of work. this one was very much worth it.

I think painless has a wiring harness , destroke should have the adapter plate

were can i find a wireing diagram for a 94 ? im putting a 94 in place of a 93 and need to know what to add or change

on the wiring diagram I did not use the harness. I run ford solenoids continuos dutie. I had no computer hooked up. ran the gages of factory wiring to dash and the solenoids started the truck and held in the shut off solenoid on a 6volt restor as not to blow of the top from to much voltage. I have to look thru some files to fine the full work up on what was done to the total job.

the only computer is for the alternator , so thats no issue , people say just run a wire from the starter but that dont help much , you can buy fuel pump relay kits but would they work and how to wire it

on the alt. i just installed a external dodge regulater. on the fuel relay i run a wire off my starter relay to side that pulls up the relay, then after it starts the other wire had a 6 volt diod the hald the voltage to 6volts as the pop the top if they stay at 12 or more volts. i am going to look for my wiring paper work i made when i did the work back in 1996. in is on a memory stick at the house.

You dont have to go with the wiring harness from painless. When I did my Suburban most of the wiring for the guages was similar enough that all you had to do was splice some wires and your off and running. Find a key on power source for your fuel solenoid. I used the GM alternator and put a pulley on it so that it would run the 8 rib serp belt.
