Ive been searching for an intake to replace my stock restrictive intake, truck is orginally a California truck. Already put on 4" exhaust, tuned engine , gauges, ATS stage 2 trans, but can't find an intake to fit this truck. Has anyone here had success with any aftermarket bolt on intake manifold for a hydro boost truck ?

if you have done away with the egr all the aftermarket units will fit if not at one time banks made an egr version of their twin ram

EGR stuff is gone, but ATS, CFM, AFE, and others say they don't fit with the hydro boost... Im very happy with the truck, but getting rid of the restrictive intake should help performance, egts, and mileage.

Ordered the Pusher today, only one I could find to work with the hydro. The stock Cali. intake is very restricted so hopefully I'll see a drop in EGT's and maybe some better mileage/ and or performance.

Installed the Pusher intake today, man did that wake my truck up. EGT dropped. Used to be able to get to 1200-1250 , now barely to 1100 degrees. Cool down is much better, It used to get down to around 300, now it cools down to between 200-250. Next we will see how the mileage improves.

97Turbo, my truck is similar to yours so I am very interested in this thread. My only question is that I have searched CFM+ website and cannot find the "Pusher" model. Where did you order yours from?

The stock intake necks down to about a one inch opening by where the egr attaches. Putting on the Pusher opens the opening to 3" right on thru. I had to buy one bolt because I had previously had the egr removed and had a block off plate in its place, I belive the bolt I bought was 8mm x 80mm. By looking at the fuel gauge compared to previous I do know my mpg has increased, wont know how much until I run thru this tank, refill and run a full tank thru the truck.

Performance is better, before it was a little doggy on the bottom end now it pulls well thru the whole rpm range.
