Archived 1997 throttle linkage broke along road (911)

Is there any way to fix the metal piece that comes from inside cab that connects to pump the one that looks like a threaded rod, it appears threads are stripped out and came loose. any way to fix temporarily to get it home.

Most hardware, autoparts stores have a metal epoxy that's fast setting that may hold temporary. I think its called J&J metal epoxy or something like that. That might hold till you can get the correct part. Good luck! and keep grinnin,

You can hold it together with wire long enough to get home to fix it right.

There was a recall on the throttle linkage.
