Driving down road any speed will shutoff, its a 5 speed so you dont need, to do anything it will coast about a 100 ft and take right back off. If idling it just dies. Fires right back up. New vp44, fass system and new filters, added grounds and checked and cleaned all grounds. Replaced ASD relay. Codes was 1693. Dodge dealer couldn't get codes from ecm. Could it be ECM. Might do it repeatedly then might not do it for 6hrs or more of driving or idling. It is hit and miss. Im sorry Dodge dealer couldn't get there programmer to connect to read codes in ecm.

You should have some kinda reading if the truck will run, the ecm is somewhat functional. P1693 is a companion code which means there is another code somewhere in there. Maybe have someone else try reading the codes, even if it's a cheapo scanner.

The codes i pulled today were. 1682, 1388, 1389, 1693. Curious if it could be alternator related. I have a mean green hi output on it. Will check tomorrow with voltage meter.

P1388 is an interesting one. Assuming your battery voltage is up to par try swapping out your ASD relay with (I think) your A/C relay in your PDC. They are in kind relays.

I'm having same issue on 99 24 valve. Fuel shuts down when I put in drive, but no problem putting in reverse. Can't seem to pick up any codes.
Fuel pressure fine (15psi), until it shuts off.
