what is the difference between a 98 and 99 sun visor would like to get these dee zee visor shelves buty the say they ony work 1999 - 2006

That's why I was trying to pin him down, I agree that it appears he is looking for the vent shades or side window deflectors.

To me the windshield sun visor would fit all 2nd Gens with marker lights or without. If it is side window deflectors than the mirror change mid 98 would explain why they only offer '99 and up IMHO.

Sorry, I went right to sunvisor. I missed the word shelf in your first post.

I cant remember what would be different up there, maybe call Dee Zee directly and see what they say. I cant imagine that they could not be made to fit.

Had a neighbor years ago that had a 98 1500 and it's interior was identical to my 99. Had same overhead console and everything. Not sure why excluding 98 model years.
