2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 1999 Ext Cab???? not Quad

Saw this on ebay and was interested till I noticed it was a '99 & an ext cab

am I forgetting something???

I looked at a truck locally that was a 99 without a quad cab also. When I called I questioned it. Maybe they had a few cabs left over from the 98 year and decided to make a few non quad cabs. I don't know, sometimes places advertise 97 ext cab short boxes too. I thought those started in 98. Is it a build date they are going off of (early 99 or late 97's)? Beats me?

I have seen the mixed bag in '98 but never a '99

I've seen a few 99's with the ext cab.

In feburary of '99 when I ordered my '99 quad cab, you could order a quad cab, a club cab, or a standard cab.

Buyer beware!!!!!

Dont get bit by the "53 bug" if it turns out to be a 99 do your homework. Their has been alot os talk on this on this web site. Defective casting on the engine block on certain build dates.

I second that, The #53 block is bad, stay away from!
