I have a 99 4-wheel drive that has an aftermarket Jake Brake that quit working, now the 4-wheel drive won't work either, is there a reason both would quit at the same time.
Trace the hose coming out of the vacuum pump (stuck to the back of the power steering pump) and look for holes. I remember that there was a common wear point somewhere along the line, but not its exact location.

Thank you all who responded to my post, it was in fact the vacuum line that had a crack in it, and was an easy fix.
Thank You all for the help
