Competition 1st Gen breaks 600 HP

I liked that; after the first one or two pulls Brian gets under the hood and wrenches on it for a couple minuts, gets back in it and makes another pull. David looks at the monitor, looks at it again, scratches head, looks at it to see if it was just the glare on the screen, then looks up at Brian and says "wow, good run", Brian says "what was it this time?" David told him and he's like "That's what I was lookin for" :-laf . That alone made it worth driving down there for, the drag racing was just icing on the cake. too bad Dennis couldn't make a pass.

Last year at the KYDTR event, Brian was last to go up. Looking for 500hp. Didn't make it. As a matter of fact, I told Brian I wasn't unstrapping it until he made it. If I remember he made 498 or 499 before we quit.



This year, he was expecting more. After the first two passes I wasn't real hopeful. Then a timing change, and gain. BIG GAIN I looked, looked again, corrected it, uncorrected it. Sweet run... what a dyno is for and what will put a grin on my face as quick as anything. Tune till you make it.



And BTW - 624 corrected, 627 uncorrected. Correction was either . 99 or 1. 00 all day.
