The Ramcharger in Lone Wolf McQuade was an early '80s as the movie was made in 1983. That was the FIRST movie I ever saw on Video/VHS as a kid. Back when you used to rent the VCR too, since NOBODY owned one!
At one point he pushed a Federal Agent out of a dry wash that was driving a'67-'72 Suburban. The agent asked if he was driving a tank? My Dad and I looked at each other and said: "YEAH"!
The Truck in Simon & Simon was indeed a Macho, I have a customer who has one. I tried to talk him out of repainting it but he did it anyway.
One of the Terminators (Chromartie?) was driving a '70s 4wd LB in one of the episodes of the new TV series. Fitting since the show is sponsored by Dodge.
Another Clint Eastwood movie was Pink Cadillac where there was a topless (sexy) '74-'76 Ramcharger being driven around frequently by the bad guys.
