1st Gen day question....

Ok guys, I'd like to know how many would be willing to attend another 1st Gen day??? NO PLANS IN PLACE YET !~!!~

If you'd plan to attend, then what month would work best for you... May, June ????

This is ONLY a feeler for possible support of the 2nd such day up here at PDR... .

Post your thoughts in here just for now... this may eventually need to be moved to "Events" so keep yer eye's peeled...

I'm tugging at the leash! I'd love to make it up there!

I've got a BOMB party to go to on June 6th/7th, so any weekend but that! I'd prefer to have it a few weeks before or after that so I'm not burnt out from all the driving... (it's 13 hours to the bomb party, and I'm sure more than that to get to Piers from here).

Just my $. 02

Count me in I have been saving my vacation for a first gen party. As long as there is enough notice so I can take the time off.

I had better get started on a list of things to do before I leave.

Stomp

Sorry pastor;

My two will be staying home. 1600 miles/26+hrs to spokan from my house, at about 10-12 mpg(trailer in tow) wont be happening this year.

Maybe next time:rolleyes: Have to save up a week of vacation just for that. Maybe a little trip for the wife and I next year.

Michael

Bob,

Later part of May or June are good for me. Unless something unseen comes up I look forward to attending.

I will definitely be there, Bob. As long as I don't get busted for doing burnouts I should be OK. It was Mark that did it!!

I look forward to telling you about a little mod one can do to the pump I discovered.

I just love this stuff

Dave

Most anytime except the first weekend in June. That is the annual gathering of the NWBombers. I would try my dangdest to attend ... even at fuel funning over $2/gal.

Carl

I'll try to get up there. Let us know as much in advance as possible so I can set it up. Stay away from the long weekends if possible due to traffic on the roads and crouds crossing into Canada.

Stan

"... ..... Bob,

Define first gen truck.

RonA..... "

"... ... ... . Ron, I'll try, anything with 70's-93 body style= 1st gen TRUCK. Bill..... "

Ok, you guys jis keep scratchin at the post don't ya... . ;):D:D

Well, let see, I guess I'll have to take a weekend and commune with "Her quickie'ness" Our Lady Of Acceleration..... ;);):D

Ummmm Bill,,, not quite bud, not quite... .

Let me see if I can get some more accurate data on what constitutes a "1st Gen Truck"...

Keep in mind that we won't turn away anyone who takes the time to show up... . that would be way un-cool, not to mention

"Un-1st Genner" of us...

pastor bob..... ok, who took my burrow that I ride into the hills ..... DAVE !!!!!!!!

pb

I too vote for late summer or early fall... August or September? I have some family in Montana and would make the trip if the timing works out

John

don't own a 1st gen truck, only part of one.

Don... you own a first gen house!!

:-laf :-laf

That counts.

Too far fo me too... gotta spend my vacation time on the boat..... (with the 2nd gen engine).

Jay

Truck is slated for body shop (my garage) in a week or two for recovery from the accident I was in. Just have to locate the radiator support, grill & bumper. Then it is time for a major overhaul; KDP, cowl patches, Pac-brake, gauges, air horns, Unagoose hitch. That is if work will co-operate and I have some free time.
