Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I know this was covered back years ago, and I cant find my issue with it in there.
1) What suggestions does anyone have as far as front shocks for my 93 350 2X4 dually? I remember someone said Rancho had a shock, but I don't know what was mentioned or recommended. Its time to replace them anyhow, so I may as well get whats best.
2) I get occasional front wheel wobble when I hit small bumps/holes etc. I don't see any terribly worn front end parts, and I think last year I checked and didn't appear to be any ball joint play. Steering seems tight otherwise, drives straight etc. Is there ever any play in the steering coupling ?Is the coupling worth upgrading to the BORG. unit? Seems to be like a bump steer deal.
3) Fuel shutoff solenoid wont go a month without cleaning small pieces of metal from the plunger, so I am guessing the pump is on its way out? Where can I find a decent deal on one, or anyone in Upstate NY know of a regionally close competent diesel shop?
4) Last and least, I have the dreaded P/S foaming, leaking out the cap deal. I remember reading this is a seal between the PS and vacuum pump. How long of a job, and more importantly, does anyone have the correct part numbers for this seal? I went to local Dodge, and they had no clue. Someone posted that Auto Zone had them, but they were worse than even the Dodge dealer!
