1st gen Fuse box

HI

Some bad things have been happening in the fuse box in my 92 D250 2WD AUTO Cummins and I would like to get a new one. I cannot find an OEM one anywhere, there is a near replacement here:- http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/dc/full.aspx?Page=72
Has anyone else had the same problem? The local scrapyard is not a good solution for me as I live in Ireland.

Help! Does fuse box mean fuse box in American English, I cant believe no one else has had this problem.

Yep, English=American in this case. I've got melted down 1st gen fuseboxes too. So far I've just bypassed the bad ones with separate fuses.

Painless wiring also makes universal fuse boxes that you can get from Summit racing or other performance outlets, you might want to look at those as well.

The LMC one sure looks exactly like the Painless P/N 30001 14 circuit universal to me. Summit has it for $149.97.

If you need a New Under dash Harness that would be the best Bet send me a PM I have a spare complete Harness .but I'm not sure I would try to splice in a New fuse box by it's self . It would be Easier to change out harness.

Replacing the entire dash harness will be a real PITA. But I agree that's also the best way to go for the long term.
