The x-over steering is not needed but it is nice, cheap and easy, you don't have to get a 2wd steering box like the chevy guys, just relocate the box on the predrilled holes on the frame ( these holes are used on the 2wd trucks but come on the 4x's even though they arn't used) All you need is a $150 steering arm and a draglink w/ends. All my stock suff was blown so it was cheaper to go theis route, the leverage is nice for the bigger tires. Any way, my truck sat low in the front too but the complete 6" kit comes with the proper front and rear springs to level you out and get 6" lift front and rear. You swap the stock rear block out for a smaller one that comes in the kit and that compensates for the sag in the front. I got my springs from summit, they seemed to be the cheapest and no shipping charges for the HEAVY springs! Let me know if you are interested in the x-over, I'll fill you in a little more on part #'s, vendors etc. Good Luck!
