I guess I'm somewhat old fashioned. It's those pesky notions of treating others the way you want to be treated, honor, respect, integrity, working hard. You know, those "ways of the past" that are out of date now.
My mom made a deal with us, her sons, that she would match whatever we saved, up to $500. 00. So I got a job and saved up and bought a pretty decent '67 Cougar and then saved up for wheels and tires. I really appreciated what I had because I helped pay for it. A buddy on the other hand, had an almost brand new Trans Am given to him by his parents and it really didn't matter to him much.
