Competition 1st gen np241 to 241dhd conversion

Interested in transfer case choices... about 600hp
205 is great for off road and pulling.. how is it for drag racing
Stock NP241 Power level ability?
Ive read about mating a passenger drop 241 chevy front with the dodge 241dhd back case to get more strength.

What do you guys say from experience

Its gonna be a short wheelbase Ramcharger.. just want to put it togeather once and be done with it.. Plus the improved 60' would t hurt!
