Hello Folks,
I have been browsing EBay for three years looking for the bellhousing, block plate, flywheel and fork to replace my '92 185K 618 auto with an NV4500. Quad 4x4 discontinued their (expensive!) kit recently. I have not completed my thorough search on TDR, but perhaps the experts can entertain a few questions:
1. Of the parts listed above, what years are compatible with the 1992 Turbo 6B?
2. I see individual parts going for $hundreds$ each. Am I stuck?
3. I see 4B parts now and then... are block plates and flywheels the same?
4. Any specialized yards or shops I should call?
5. I plan to solve the 23/29/31 output spline problem by using a HD Dodge '96 and later trans, and using the Advance Adapters GM SM465 to NP205 conversion kit, because I located a 10-spline input gear for my NP205 that will allow me to use this kit. Any screams?
Thanks for any advice. Feel free to email direct if that is better: -- email address removed --.
