Yeeeaaaaahhhhhh, about that........ I'd have to have a shop the size of Wal-Mart, and I'd just go into hibernation. I've got friends in Kansas and Nebraska, and they're always calling me around lunch time, reminding me how cold it friggin' is..... Funny, I can hear your shop heater running in the background..... We're pretty lucky. We thawed out early last week, and it's been up in the 60's every day. The weekend was gorgeous, with temps in the upper 70's. But, being Texas, the clouds came in and the wind picked up Monday morning.... Still better than it's been. Yesterday, it drizzled all morning. Too cool for a shirt, but as soon as you put on a jacket, you're sweating. Supposed to be up near 70 today, then back down to freezing tonight, and up to 65 or so tomorrow....... Oh, well, better than sleet and snow and the Interstate being shut down. The worst part was schools were shut down. Dang kids crawling under the truck with me and wanting to go sledding off the tank dams.... :D Also fun was the phone call to come get someone.... they'd slid off in the ditch..... again. Dang imports..... they just don't learn.... :-laf

oh yea weather came in early this morning. by the time I put a coat of primer on my bed it snowed a couple inches and my phone started blowing up to go plow and on the way I pulled a couple people out of the ditch. no struggle though even without a bed on it. neighbour didn't want to pay a plow truck and dropped his bobcat in a teen foot drainage ditch trying to do it himself . lmao.

Bah, I don't worry about paint and body work... not many get a good enough look at it as I pass, and no one can see after I go by, so what's the point?

The point up here is to keep the salt off the sheet metal! If you dont fix the ding, the salt gets in and then it looks like most gen 1s. Down your way you dont have to worry about that so much!

That's true!! Another reason you guys are crazy!!! :D I like my trucks rust free, thank you!! I will say, this is the first year I've ever gotten Magnesium Chloride (aka "Weasel Snot") on my '93.... they were treating the roads the day before that crazy ice storm that shut DFW down.... I even got it on the Pete... :{

General sir, better get under those trucks and clean them up good or you may have to get a few panels from Bschwarzli.
