I have an early 91 W-350 that I'm installing an alternator driven tach in, and the instructions ask how many pole the alternator is. Does anyone have an idea? My choices for pre-calibrated settings are 8,10,12,14,16. Also, the instructions say that an "R" or "W" or "AC" terminal is required. I know that the alternator doesn't have the "R" or "W" terminal. Does anyone know the "AC" terminal location if any, or is this one of the field terminals?

Paychk, I knew this would come in handy for somebody, glad I could help. CMiddlebrook, this works good still no problems. :D

Good luck!
