Only two weeks away, DHRA Diesel Nationals at IRP Indianapolis, IN formerly known at Thunder in Muncie June 25, 26. Hopefully there will be plenty of 1st gens there. I'll be driving the 89 day one, 85 crew day two. Will be my first IRP event and TiM show. Hopefully I can save up my pennies for the $75 dyno charge. Believe its $30 for a 2 day pass, 16 yrs under free- at least thats what the Indy radio stations have advertised. Price gets you in for all sled pulls and drag races, basically everything.

I've heard the 'Yellow' truck will not be making an appearance :{ , so no 700hp VE #2 only :p . So who's going???

Edit:link to info on TiM. https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130835

We will get him. Some of the guy's can keep him busy and I'll grab the flat bed. :-laf :-laf

He can keep the shovel. I do not steal anything that leads into work.

I'll be going don't know which day,I would like to dyno though. What day are the drag races on and is their a link for a website for directions?

Blue Ox, there's a thread in the 'National Events' section that tells the schedule.

I'll be there Sunday, but will probably be in the '01, not the first gen. Not planning to compete or dyno this year.

Well I think if TDR member BigBadDodge is driving from California to attend, anyone within a 10 hour drive can't use the excuse of its too far away. . So I'll see ya there:D.

Or better yet hook the 35 foot gooseneck up to the Neon and pull both your 1st gens over :-laf :p  .

I can't wait. I might have to take a personal day that Friday so I don't work til 5am Saturday morning then stay up 16hours all day Sat with no sleep   .

I have half a day Thursday and all day friday off. I'll be heading West with the Ohio and WVA crowd Fri. morn. I'll stay untill Sunday morn and head back through Indiana then. Maybe Philip will have lunch ready for me in Perue Sunday afternoon.

I hope I don't get a ticket for smoking the intersetions. Nothing I like more than smoking the third gen trucks. :) (all in fun)
