1st Report 06 Smarty!

Waaaaayyyy happy, just went around the block on sw3, and it feels GREAT!! Love the idle up since it's been in the low 30's at night to help warm up. Now, I need time to go play with all the numbers... ... ... ..... :-laf Oh, and Bob, a BIG thanks to you bud!!

Cool... I got mine working tonight as well. I had some trouble getting my computer to work with the smarty though... I had to boot my bullydog drivers and start from scratch then everything updated fine. I put SW#3 in my truck as well... . seems OK. I am only using stock TM though. Did you install stock, mild, or moderate TM updates?

Mild, since mine is 100% stock... ... ... ...

I may have to try the mild SW's but at the moment it is too darn cold and icy here. :{

Are there other versions now..... If so what is the difference in the differeny programs?

Stock TM

Standard Smarty (the one it's shipped with)

Mild TM (less TM than standard smarty)... . e. g. should have a built transmission

would that affect me with a manual transmission? and if so does that mean i am good to go being i have a Sb clutch in already?

i felt a difference going from the mild to the moderate TM with my 6 speed. we do have some TM for the manuals too. not nearly as much as the autos.
