1st Smarty Tow

I just returned from the coast towing my 7500 lb trailer using the Smarty on SW1. It's only 270 miles or so, but I have a lot of data going there. I lost about 0. 5 MPG, but there was a lot of traffic and so a lot of 4th and 5th gear driving.

I only hit 1000 degrees once, which is not normal. I think it ran about 200 degrees lower the whole trip.

Boost was much lower also, but I attribute that to not needing hardly any throttle to maintain speed.

I had a couple of bad shifts, but with the latest upgrades to the Smarty program, that should be fixed for the next time.

All in all... ... ... Oo. I'm happy with it, exactly what I have been looking for.

You'll love the #2 software. All the power and smoooooooth throttle response. Works great with my manual. Even on level 5 I can drive and shift smooth as glass. I haven't tried 7 or 9 due to time constraints.

my neighbor 03 gained 3. 5 mpg towing with the 60hp with timing software . gvw 17K plus went from 11. 2 to 14. 7 not too shabby
