I am doing a 2. 5" leveling lift on my 2001. 5 2500 4X4 with Skyjacker D25 coils and want to know from your experience, which upper and lower front suspension links (control arms) are better . . . Rancho "boxed" style arms or Skyjacker standard (non-flex) tubular style arms. Please share your thoughts.

You don't necessarily have to replace the arms! You can purchase the coils seprately from Summit Racing for $159 delievered! Part # SJU-D25.

Save yourself some $$. I ran them on my first 97 (D25's) for a year on stock arms with no probs, had them on the new to me 97 for a couple of months now no probs.

Either is good

I used Skyjacker because they came with the kit I bought. Either one will be much better than those skinny little stamped steel pieces from the factory.

You will need a longer track bar due to the lift pulling the axle off center.

Also...

If you want to really improve the ride and handling of your truck get the rear leaf springs from Skyjacker and ditch the cheap factory lift blocks
