Purolator makes the factory DC filters. I worked at Purolator and saw them come off the line. The only difference between a Purolator and a factory filter is color. I use Fleetguard myself but would have no problem using the Purolator filters.
I am good friends with our local Goodyear Service Center. They service my truck. They know when I take my truck in for an LOF they will find a new Stratapore filter in the seat... ... ... ..... Thanx to Geno's... ... ... ... ... ... ... .

If DC says a purlator is okay, then its okay. End of story. What you do with your truck is your business. I buy fleetguard because I need an reason to go to Cummins Northwest and BS with them.
