I already have an egt probe installed on my manifold right above the turbo for my guage. I am going to install an edge with attitude that also has the egt probe. Is it a bad idea to have the manifold drilled twice above the turbo on the oppsoite side or should it be drilled somewhere else? Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated!

In my humble opinion, It's safe to drill and tap the Exhaust Manifold twice. I'd just drill it at least 2-3" away from the 1st hole. For example, if you have your 1st hole is at the aft side of the manifold, then it's safe to drill into the front side of it. Moose00 Oo.

My EGT Probe is post turbo. If I add a Edge or something that displays EGT's I would have one probe in the manifold and one post turbo in the elbow to monitor cool down temp's. Just a suggestion.

I drilled mine the first time when I put in the tri-gauge package, boost, egt,and fp. When I got the TST box, I had to drill a second hole for that to get the egt limiter. Mine is drilled within an inch or so of each other, and no problems in the 60k or so since they have been on there. Mine is drilled preturbo on both.

I was just worried about too much stress and it cracking. Sounds like you have good luck with 60k since intsalling them. I will give that a try and see how it goes. Thank you!
