Started last night and had like 4" up to late night, Snowed continuosly today to get over 2 feet of snow today. It has stopped and 'sposed to snow like 4-10" tomorrow.

Here are a few pics. We have to make a dog run in our back yard for our Miniature shnausers.

Truck was cleaned off a few hours before the pic you see below. We ge plowed roads so we have to clean out the berm from the plow... .

EricBu12,

Is that you in that picture? 2 feet of snow will be over your knees. In the picture the snow is way below your knees.

I don't want to sound mean or selfish or anything. But if there is anyway you can keep that white stuff out west I would appreciate it.

:D

I have cleared a dog-walk area in my backyard in the past. Neighbors without snow blowers give you real dirty looks when you have your driveway and walks done and are "playing aound" in the back yard while they struggle with a shovel. I have cleared snow for free for the sick and elderly in my neighborhood, just won't do it for the young and cheep.

But if there is anyway you can keep that white stuff out west I would appreciate it.

The west needs it, badly. It might even keep some of the forest fires down, and the lakes up. 24 degrees here in sunny Tucson this morning. That's cold considering they don't go to any effort to bury water lines comming into the house.

you can keep all that white stuff on the ground over there... i don't want it back. it was like spring weather here yesterday and it was great!!! i don't like the salt spray that comes with the snow... . without that i wouldn't mind it.

My daughter-in-law and grandsons are here, visiting from Roy, for the holidays. She is not looking forward to leaving.

I rounded up on the totals. there is at least 16" there, you notice it is snowing at the time?... . then we got 2-4" after this pic was posted.

Confession:

My 72 yr old Dad is the one in the pic. I do it too and the front and the "Berm" from the plow but dad is one of those guys that think "if I rest I rust" so he keeps busy... ... I'm in the pic doing the shoveling across the street I'm the one in the middle with the dark jacket.

The ski areas got over 4' new for a total of 90" Accum.

Still have some of the snow on the roof of the truck on the last pic you see. There was a full 12-16" covering the truck.....

We need this wetness, we are in a severe drought. We need 150% of the water to do good for next summer..... to bring the reservoirs up... .

We got hammered up here in ogden too... Several broken trees out in the pasture. One broke on our rooftop. We got the backhoe and and did some emergency chainsawin, it was interesting being hosited 20 feet up in the bucket of a backhoe dangling a chainsaw over the broken part of a tree trunk.

I heard we're getting another storm coming this way today or tonight. I just spent the last 2 hours or so blowing snow here at work today. Everyone's been off since last wednesday so it's really piled up around here.

The driver for the transport company that is supposed to ship my old truck to it's new owner got stuck in Salt Lake City for a couple of days. Come spring, we'd sure appreciate it if you could send some of that melted snow our way.

man is this ever going to stop? It's getting ridiculous. But I guess we need the water in the spring. I'm getting tired of shoveling and plowing.

I drove through Northern California yesterday and boy did they get a whollop. Mt. Shasta City got 3+ feet in a day. Even Redding got dumped with 9-12" of snow. There were all sorts of cars trapped in parking lots.

It was chilly in Sacramento and a few degrees cooler it would've been a blizzard in the central Cal. valley.
