Well on the way home from work tonight I stopped and fueled up. I drained the water seperator and then left the fuel station to head for home. I made the right up the hill when all of a sudden my rear tires just start braking loose. Thought it might have been some ice but then started smelling fuel. Pulled over and shut her down. I notice a puddle under the truck. Well I guess the valve must have stuck open b/c when I opened the hood it was closed in the down position and I know I closed it. Just gags me that my truck is covered in fuel. This happen to anyone else? Any harm to the truck? On the bright side alll the trick or treaters can enjoy the smell of fuelo and that's the best rust prevention for the undercarriage.

Happened to me twice. The first time it was about 6 miles to the house from the station. Lost about 6-8 gallons. The second time I caught it as soon as I started the engine and shut her down - jiggled the valve lever and it stopped. Now, to heck with it, I have not drained it in about 1 year. Until I see some sign that I need to, I don't plan to drain it.
