Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2 Quick LP ?'s

Trying to get a new LP from Cummins West an they are telling me P/N 39901015 is correct and that I need a pigtail for first time change out. I thought 3990106 was the latest and no pig tail needed. I have a 2001 HO. Thanks

I have an 01 ETH and the 015 is the correct no. but no pigtail needed.

Only the early 24v need the pig tail and I believe 3990106 is the correct number. Tell them to look Chrysler book for the exact year you have, if I remember they are green books and there is one for each year. You would be suprised how many times I have said "I don't have a 98 and you need to look in the 01 book".
