Been there, done that... Have the parts to show for it. We slugged the #6 with WAY TOO MUCH alcohol testing the limits of a water injection system. Strong hint: Make sure that you have very good distribution of your water if you are mixing 50% alky.



How far were your valves out? How do the injector tips look?

injectors look ok the push rod had fallen off the adjuster and was riding on the rocker no damage to the rocker so could not have been that way long so about a 1/4 inch out

I have a piston/wrist pin out of a Mack E7-427 on my desk at work. I need to get one out of a 6BT one of these days to start a collection.
