2 speed Brownie

looking into a 2 speed aux overdrive to add behind an Allison auto (aka 2 speed Brownie) Any OLD MECH'S out there have the part numbers of the correct aux overdrive box. If I remember right Eaton made a 2 speed overdrive unit. Spicer came out with one a 5831 B but I think that is to small for my needs it was for GM products

Hey Big, did the auto conversion change your final drive ratio over the manual? Unless you just want more gears, how about a rear axle ratio change. If you go the aux route you might as well get at least a 3 spd. If you need lower and higher gears, maybe a 2-spd rear axle drop in.

Just thinking out loud Nick I want to wait until I get it back and back together and see how it runs then, I have pulled the mules and it seemed to do just fine but wasn't on the Hwy to see what the top end would be. I would like to run the 285/70R 19. 5 tires to get the height down but dont want to loose it for the mountains either.
