2 WD 2006 2500 SLT Mega cab 5.9 CRD 6 spd SRW to DRW conversion.

I have front OEM spacers coming.

I will order 3" RR steel hubcentric and wheel centric spacers.



Has anyone used the later model alcoa OEM 17x7. 5 rims , do they fit ?

I believe the DRW axles are 4" wider, so 2" spacers are needed.

Alcoa makes the OEM rims? Why wouldn't OEM rims fit?

Because they are 4th gen and 7. 5" wide, most 3rd gen's used 6" wide rims.

Gotcha. I didn't realize they were made by Alcoa. According to Ram they are 17" x 6" rims thou. The only 17 x 7. 5" wheels I see are the steel spares for SRW trucks.

The online catalog I was looking at made it look like they were 7. 5" I think you are right they are 6" ,so they should fit.
