Just Bought a Mega Cab

Well after 2 Fords and 1 Chevy I now have found the right truck. I am very impressed with the motor, quite and very strong. The cab layout is good and the guages are great, very easy to see in the Arizona bright sun. The a/c is marginal and I have read others are not impressed either. Overall an outstanding truck.

Next week the guages go in, a different muffler, Line-X, and Pullrite Slider hitch. I am very anxious to pull my 13k toyhauler and put a load on it.

Thanks for all the great threads, they helped me get it right.

Hey there tacobuider, after 1 GMC and 3 Fords (all gassers) I decided to go diesel and the ONLY one I wanted was the Dodge with the Cummins. I've had mine 6 months and am still smiling like the 1st drive the day I took it home! I think my smile got bigger when I hooked for the first time, yours will too. Absolutely a great truck.

I have added a couple things to mine too. Gauges are a must, you will learn from them, great for peace of mind too. I think I'm going to live with the stock exhaust for a while, I want to add a jake break, the exhaust money will be better spent in that direction as the stock exhaust flows OK with respect to the intake air. I added the Firestone Ride Rites and the KORE HD Leveling, towing got even better.

Enjoy your truck, that's what is the best part.
