Hi Everbody!
I'm going to put a 2 wheel low set up on my Truck and want a switch to mount to the side of my 4x4 lever. I'm looking for one that looks like the big truck (2 speed rearend) switches, anybody have a vendor/part #?

I do not rmember the part number, but NAPA carries both the switch and the harness/plug for the switch.

On another note, Whitey is now making a mechanical front axle disconnect locking device which would allow you to select 2 LOW mechanically rather than with vacuum control. It is sold for folks who want to make sure the front is locked in when they need it, but it would also work for a 4LOW device. Their web site is http://www.4x4posi-lok.com

Thanks Sam,
The posi-lock looks like a no brainer #ad
- much easier to install and more reliable than the vacuum switch method . AND no concern about the possibility of unintended axle engagement. #ad
Thanks much for the info-TDR rules! #ad
