2 wheel low for 3rd gen

got my attention also. backing these big 5ers is a pain in the *** without 2WL. besides if i went to the hubs kit, in my opinion that would just be another week link as far as i am concerned. price would make it sell easier... ... .....

I'd be interrested, but I'd want to see the intallation instructions before I would buy it. Price would be secondary as a Dynatrac set up will easily exceed $2000 on my dually. PM me when your kit is ready. I looking at doing the Dynatrac thing this fall. Ken Irwin

I wana know too, but I wana know if this idea would work on the NP241DHD t-case in the 2nd gens. Reason is that the 02 trucks dont have the CAD, and neither do I since I went to 3rd gen axles.

I realize that this is not in my leauge, or vintage of truck but, I have always wondered what does the accuating, is it vaccum? solinoid, What makes the shift in the transfere case to the lower gear.

I done mine by interupting the vaccum line on the front axle. Could a switch be in stalled to intrupt the solinoid, but still get the lower gear?

The concept that was/ being discussed was how the old new proccess [GM 73 and later yrs etc] full time 4 wheel drive was by changed. Remove the spider gears and put in a couple others. Get away from the front axle turning. and then add Hubs. A bit of work.
