deck-over trailer rental in S.E. GA/AL

Gvw???

Just installed Bob V. 's Two Wheel Low Kit this weekend.

Nicely detailed instructions, complete with all necessary parts, and makes for a clean sanitary installation.

This Kit works great for manuvering trailers around in tight spots. You get the nice slow creeping speed of low range without the driveline lockup in 4 wheel drive.

Great Kit, Bob :D

Thanks a lot!

I to would like to thank Bob for taking his time to drop by, help install and chat for a few minutes before heading off for a busy weekend.

Did I mention that the kit installed in an about an hour taking our time, works great, very well thought out and appears to have good quality;)

Thanks again Bob

RoadRanger,

Thank you for posting your kind comments about the kit. I am glad the installation went well for you.

Marty,

I was happy to stop by. It's always nice to meet other TDR members and their families and I always enjoy drilling holes in other people's $30,000 trucks! When I get a chance I will get back to you on the question you had.

Thanks again, guys. Its nice to hear such positive feedback. Enjoy. Bob V.

Mine's been here a week or two now, still no time to install it. But it looks absolutely great. Very nice quality valve. Hopefully I'll install it soon. Maneuvering trailers in high gear is getting old. :)

YES! it works great and is easily installed providing you follow the instructions.

The instructions are clear and to the point. You can not afford not to take the time to install just to save the wear and tear on your nerves, clutch, and marriage. Have used it 4 times already and have said 12 times. I LOVE IT.

I just installed mine and things went well (complete and detailed instructions. I took some extra time and stuffed the empty spaces with some "batting" before reinstalling the boots and lowered the noise (yeah. . I know some like the noise) coming from that area. Thanks Mr V.

Finding 2 wheel low kit

To those guys looking for this kit;

Do a 6 months All Forum search for "two wheel low kit". You will see Bob V. 's thread that explains all of the particulars of the kit. Then if you want one, PM him directly.

I'm not going to post a member's address on the forum without his permission.

For those of you looking for the posts, a search using "two wheel low kit" did not work for me. Just enter "wheel low kit" and you will get the posts--you will know you have the correct posts when you see the pics of the installation.

"low wheel kit" does not work for me. I tried it and it displays every posting that has one of these three words in it. I have not had any successful searches using multiple words under this new system. Can you tell me what the name of the thread is or where the kit can be ordered?

I've had my kit for a week or two, just had time to put it in today. It works very well. Quality parts and precise instructions !

Thanks Bob !!

2 wheel lo kit

I have had mine installed for several weeks now, I finally got to use it yesterday... . :D Damn, I love this thing... Thanks Bob

Thanks again everyone for the positive feedback. I have posted in the product/accessory forum under shifter knob/EBrake/two wheel low kit a new kit offering I might put together if there is positive interest. This uses a Eaton/Fuller Shifter Knob to control both the Exhaust Brake and a full function Two Wheel Low Kit. This kit has the ability to be left either on or off when the transfer case is in two wheel drive. I will still offer the original kit along with the new one. Thanks Bob V.

Had to back into a real tight space with the 5er the other day. This kit makes backing so much easier. Cant wait to get this all put on the Eaton Fuller knob. Thanks again Bob.

Thanks again everyone for all your support. I am putting together a web-page for the 2WL kits and would like pictures of your truck with the kit installed, I currently need pictures of the shifter mounted '98 through '01. I am also getting ready to order more valves. If anyone is interested in a kit, please let me know so I can include you in this next order. Email me with your pictures at -- email address removed -- Thanks again, Bob V

p. s. for a subtle hint to the wife, cut and paste this to your screen saver!:D This will make a great stocking stuffer!
