They were always re-engined KLR650's. They were supposed to be released to the public about a year and a half ago but that was delayed due to the military demand for them. Last I knew the price was supposed to be close to $30,000 for the civilian version - OUCH.

$30,000? That's like a $23,000 markup for a diesel engine! What else do they do?

The bike market is going way overboard. I remember when a Ninja 900 cost $2800 new! A few years later, bikes jumped to $10,000 with no real reason other than greed!
