At exactly the 2 year mark (Dec 18th) I had logged 60,771 miles on it. It really has been a good truck with exception that it loves to eat lift pumps (on #4 now), and it averages 19mpg. I have had it in for the following under warranty:

-dr seat back and bottom cushion replaced (the back collapsed)

-both front calipers replaced (slight drag in rt caliper)

-ecm reflashed (had a lumpy idle when fully warm)

-2 lift pumps replaced under warranty

-rt window channel seal replaced (split)

Other than a clutch and slave cylinder being smoked due to bombing, the above is not bad considering this thing has been bombed since 4,000 miles.

The funny part is I only live 6 miles from my work, but if you average the the time I've owned it by the miles... I average 83 miles per day. I'm glad I didn't get stuck with a problem child.

MikeR,

Our trucks are about the same age; however, I have only half the mileage on mine as you do. My "limited production" '00. like yours, has been a very good truck. Only 1 warranty claim--fuel transfer pump at approx. 27,000 miles.

I haven't has as much fun shifting gears since I had my 'Vette back in the middle 60s!!

Hey Mike, wow 2 years came up fast. I am closing in on 2 years myself (got my truck March 10th) and it looks like I'll be at about the same mileage or a bit more than you (I'm at 54,300 now). I also live very close to work (3. 5 miles!) but seem to really rack 'em up. Lots of trips to BOMBfests I guess

Like you I really enjoy my truck but it hasn't been perfect. Still on the original lift pump but I've had my rough idle problems as you know. Other than that just a leaky trans seal. 19mpg is a good average for your rig even though you like the mileage of your '99 better.
