Just a note to all of you to let you know about the Cancer Benefit we are having here in Clay Center for our 2 yr old Granddaughter, Chelsea.
A local grocery store will be selling sandwiches on April 29th and 30th and May 1st. In conjunction with that there will be an on-air auction on the 30th at the local radio station. There are several nice items that have been donated. A Men's KU basketball signed by the team, an autographed Nicole Ohlde jersey, a framed picture of the four KSU lady cats, a real nice oak Jewelry armorie, a landpride jacket and some other things. Dana and I along with Brooks Yamaha in Manhattan have donated a little kids battery powered Gator, that we are selling chances on. There will also be other items to by chances on. Also, a pair of Country Stampede tickets (weekend pass) to sell chances on. Chances are $1 for 1 chance or $5 for 6 chances. We have an account set up at the Clay County National Bank for anyone wanting to give a monetary donation.
Chelsea is doing pretty good. Still goes to KU med once a month for her chemo treatments. Once she turns 3 in August they will do radiation. The rest of them are doing well too. I have to tell you all how proud I am of Tori and Dustin for how well they are handling everything. They are starting to get some medical bills coming in so that is why we are having this benefit. To help them out a little bit.
We do appreciate all your love and prayer through this whole ordeal. Thank God for family and friends. You guys are the best.
Cards from any TDR members would be appreciated and we will make sure that Chelsea gets them. Thanks to all in advance.
