Seriously, I think the 20,000 member should get a free subscription to the TDR. Also a gift pack like maybe from Genos or how about ALL the past issues of the TDR... ... ... to show them what they have been missing out on !

Most noteworthy point on THIS board is, membership is for PAID members, so numbers are pretty accurate and reliable - unlike some boards who like to *claim* high membership numbers (I won't mention any names... ), but are free and include virtually EVERY person who has EVER registered from day one, regardless of whether they're even still using the board, or died 5 years ago...

Actually, that number is everyone who has had access at one time to the site. Old usernames are kept around for two reasons - one is that they have to be kept in order for their posts to remain with the correct name, second is so that if someone wants to resubscribe after letting their subscription lapse they can get their original name, posts, etc back. As of today there are 12,547 current subscribers registered on the site and there is close to 20,000 total subscribers to the magazine. The last couple months we've added 540 and 565 users to the site each month - this month if we continue the rate we're at right now we'll add ~650.



Not sure what, if anything the TDR will do for the 20,000th user on the website but I know it won't be a truck .

This really is a great organization. I wish I had signed on years ago. No matter I am here now, and if the club remains as it is now, I'll be here from now one. Lots of really friendly helpful folks. The breakdown phone book was a surprise I was not expecting. That is a true blessing in itself.

The jackets aren't available for purchase. They are used as give aways at events, etc.

Steve- I see that you have dis abled the running count. good thinking! Prevents someone from jumping in while monitoring. Even though the actual winnerwill be anounced later, will the count be re activated once 20K is reached?

Tell ya what Steve it may sound "Soft" but I am kinda stoked. This just may be one of the biggest things the TDR ITSELF has yet to have gone thru. (Other than the site revamp , and the server move)
