*cough* air dog *cough*

Currently, my air dog is half covered in in 1/2" thick ice. Small model with a 30psi spring. It just works.

They make a 200gph model. Called the "super dog" I think.

that's correct! the 200 and 250 series are called super dogs. I have been running the 150 for about a month now and I am very happy with it.

I've ran the FASS 150 for over 75,000 miles without a problem. The only thing is the pick up tube, it seems to run out diesel quickier. Also with programmers and the TST it is a must.

IMILLS - i always follow yourr treads, and as I always say experience is worth more than the BS on here. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the 200 on my truck since I bought it. I think you might be better off sending the pump to diesel dan and having him look at it, if you have the time and resources, he could check it out for you, and make it quieter

I can understand your frustration, but I ask you give me a chance to make it right with your pump before you go and post a thread like this..... :)

IMHO, his post is what a board like this is s'posed to be all about... if you resolve his issue, you certainly have every right to come back & post about it and to encourage your customer to do so also.

If FASS owners are expected to keep quiet about their breakdowns, then that should prolly be disclosed in all FASS ads & packaging...

Its not THAT this issue was posted..... its HOW it was presented... ... . This thing started negative even before we were given a chance... ... that’s all im saying... .

I could care less if people post their experiences about their systems…and actually encourage it. Hence why I am here. BUT what would you think if you thumbing through the threads and saw “200 gph fass not impressed”? You wouldn’t even have to read the thread and already your opinion is negative on our system. THAT was my issue.

Ramzilla is right. Freedom of speech has it's ups and downs. There's nothing you can stop threads like this one. IHMO, you telling people to not post threads like this in a public forum just asks for more ridicule.

I 100% agree with you, it sucks to have something like this show up, and your are 100% right, most folks will create their judgment before even clicking on the thread. . Nothing you can do about it.

But you are 100% wrong to push people to do the ethical thing first in the manor you did. It sucks being right, and it's a delicate situation. I would of gone about handing things differently my self.

Catch my drift?

AGAIN... . I never implied that i had an issue that he posted this problem, its his God/USA/TDR given right to do so... . BUT they way the issue was posted could have been presented with a bit more couth..... That is my right to express my opinion on that. "You catch more flies with honey... " is a theory I operate by... ...

BUT I'm digressing from the real issue at hand here.

TCluff, have your dealer call me with your SN and we will get the ball rolling on this.

im sorry the way i came across, didnt mean for it to sound soo bad, just that i have been having alot of issues with the truck lately and don't have the time or money to repair it

As with anything, you can always get a bad one... lots of FASS with a good amount of miles floating around with no issues... mine has 85k.

I'm sure that the AirDog and Glacier Kits have problems too, or they wouldn't need a warranty. Anyone claiming they don't have problems, well, they just have never surfaced. There is not a single "perfect" solution, they all have their quirks... and you can always get a bad one no matter how much engineering went into them.

Dan should get you on the road, he's treated me well when I've had questions.

Hi Guys,

As a vendor/manufacturer (Fuel Preporator AirDog, etc. ) we all want a chance to 'fix' a customers problem before it goes any further. As Dan said he isn't trying to quell your opinions, he is just wanting to correct your problem. Then, hey go ahead and post the problem and how the company either did or did not take care of you. Any one can make a mistake. I even remember one I made at Fuel Preporator a long long time ago.

The Issue Is Being Resolved By Dan And I Thank Him For That, Didnt Mean For This Thread To Get Out Of Hand, Happy New Year To All... j. t.
